The new lobby takes the place of an abandoned cocktail lounge on the ground floor. By opening up this lounge, a new link is achieved between the font of the hotel and the existing lobby which effectively doubles its size. The new design includes a custom designed five meter diameter motorized revolving door, saw toothed sandstone fountain, cocktail lounge and bar, stage, shops, reception desk, security office and baggage check-in. White Carrera marble, Figured Anegre panels, stainless steel and frameless glass enhance the penetration of natural light into the space.
